Thank You Patriots

I just wanted to say thanks to all those who were able to attend the 9-12 rally in D.C. Great job! I've heard no reports of fighting, nor have I seen any photos indicating that this crowd left a bunch of litter behind them. Just a civilized exercise of our first amendment right to peaceably assemble.
So much for astroturf.

"The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.

  1. I agree entirely with what you said here, Mom. It seems to have been a wonderful success, and entirely civil and orderly, reflecting very well on the people who were there. I think that is a real credit to America.

I was really surprised not to hear of any medical emergencies at all. I thought surely there would be some, due to heat, exhaustion, or some such. But I did not hear of anything at all. Perhaps that reflects in part the news blackout.

I think the whole thing reflects very, very badly on our cowardly president. The White House said he did not know anything was happening, even though this event has been widely publicized for months. Either that is a bald faced admission that he does not listen to America, or that he is completely out of it, take your choice. Instead, he chose to hide in Minnesota with a little pre-planned love fest there. What a jerk! A million people come to see the man, so he leaves town. Typical!

  2. Say, folks, Here's an excuse for the president not being aware of the event right on his own doorstep: He probably gets his news from the mainstream media, and they didn't cover the march. :)

  3. I hope that was written tongue in cheek, Jill.
