May all the readers of this blog have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

As those who have been with this blog may recall, from the days when there were more posts and fewer videos shared here, The author of this blog has an interest in photography. That being the case, there are a few items of interest that I will share in this blog that are not political in nature. (Like the occasional music, cooking and history videos.)

If the government is self sustaining, financially, without the people's voluntary payment of taxes, then the government is no longer restrained from any laws it wishes to pass or enforce.

To this blogger, this sort of thing - government taking a stake in businesses - is an incremental step towards the government becoming the equivalent of a profit driven company. A company that has no need to do as the people direct.
