- May we stop and take the time today, to be thankful for those who gave all to secure the freedoms we have experienced to this point.
- May we gain an appreciation for what we are losing, day by day in the current struggles that beset us from within and without and be strengthened by the knowledge that some gave all.
- May we remember those who served and survived with burdens of evil knowledge that they bore/will bear forever to keep us safe.
- May we remember that the safety they fought and bled and died and suffered/suffer for is not the safety to do nothing, but rather the safety to take risks and fail sometimes.
- May we never forget that America is the last, best hope for freedom in this current age and that we are the warriors who have been given the breathing space to keep it alive by those whose sacrifices we honor today.
"The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?" ~ Isaiah 21:11
