Welcome Josh Tolley Listeners

Update: The legislation never got referred to the committee and as a result must be re-introduced next session. Unfortunately, Rep Kestell is retiring and Sen Leibham is running for Congress, so both of my legislators, who acted as sponsors for this legislation are likely to be gone(although I will grant that Mr. Leibham will have stiff competition for Rep Petri's seat in Sen Grothman.)  I own to some disappointment. You may see the latest update here.

Thanks to Josh Tolley and the Josh Tolley Show. Please share your stories in the comments here. The legislation on the table in WI are SB 309 and AB 390. This is simple legislation that just says educators must contact parents first if they are going to question your child about criminal activity.
The other posts you may be interested in are here, here and here. Even if your legislator has signed on as a co-sponsor, please call him/her to thank them and express your support.

I am not part of any organization and I am not asking for money, just a phone call to your legislators. We have a participatory system of government and this is one of the ways we can participate besides voting. The legislative aides are polite and wonderful, please treat them well when you call.
