And that's the problem we have in a nutshell, isn't it? Sure the media is not giving us good info on the candidates, sure we live in interesting times, but the bottom line here is that, as Americans, we have a duty to inform ourselves about the candidates, find those of good character who align most closely with our values and vote them into office - NOT to use political parties as an easy button so we don't have to bestir ourselves. We have, gentlemen, the government we deserve. We put them there through our own refusal to attend to our duty to be informed and responsible voters.
