This is just sad. Having children is the POINT of life. It is the biggest challenge we get in this life. And Grandchildren are the reward for having children. Why would anyone forgo having children? That's like buying Zelda: Breath of the Wild and never fighting any of the boss battles or beating the game.
In addition, children are your legacy in/to the world. There are a little piece of you that goes forward into a future you will never see. They are your influence on the future.
