Health insurance

Just in case some folks haven't been paying attention, Mr. Feingold and Mr. Kohl both support the so-called "public option" - otherwise known as the federal government's takeover of the healthcare system and the further erosion of our Constitutional rights. Please see their signatures on a letter to Mr. Reid that leaves very little question of their intentions here.

Elections are coming. Let us thank them for their service and bestir ourselves to find replacements for these gentlemen.

It seems like every piece of legislation, Kohl and Feingold are on the wrong side. I have called and wrote so often that their staff knows me by name.

Kohl's people are friendly, but Feingold has some of the rudest staff members I have ever dealt with. Don't forget that he likes to brag that he is a progressive. He is up for re-election next year too. I hope we actually have someone to vote for.

You and me both.
I try to be polite to the staff, even though I seldom approve of the votes cast by their bosses.

It makes me want to spit every time I get one of their letters explaining that they did the wrong thing-but for the "right" reasons.

Do you know of any candidates on the horizon for conservatives to rally behind?

Dear Mom,
So why do you think it necessary that they be thanked for their (dis)service? Is it not enough to simply chase them out of office and let them be grateful it was not with hot tar and feathers?

Dr. D.,
I take my cue here from Mr. Washington:

"Show not yourself glad at the Misfortune of another though he were your enemy."

and from Mr. Samuel Adams:

"[N]either the wisest constitution nor the wisest laws will secure the liberty and happiness of a people whose manners are universally corrupt."
