Of War And Remembrance ... Thoughts On Memorial Day 2019

What would a civil war look like?

What is has looked like for the last several decades is the left taking over our schools and brainwashing our children. That is why we have come to this point.

What would it look like now - with a lot of young people, convinced of their righteousness and the "by any means necessary" mantra being put out by their ideological guides - it would look like the violent behaviors demonstrated by the followers of movements like BLM and Antifa.

Where do we go from here?

BLM and Antifa being opposed with the same violence in which they engage. For now, they have been met mainly by the turning of the other cheek, but when it becomes obvious that such attacks will occur, it is only common sense for those attending such events to be prepared to defend themselves. I am hoping that it will take only a few demonstrations in which such preparation is successful for common sense to prevail, but I fear it will not. It would be best, in my opinion, if those defending themselves were able to detain(as peacefully as possible) the perpetrators of the violence and for those perpetrators to have the proverbial book thrown at them, as publicly as possible. Perhaps that would make others think twice before engaging in violence.

I applaud the resolution but common sense  says that one only has the choice to refuse to engage in war, not to keep others from declaring it against you.
