Ask the Professor Wife beating a century ago March 28, 2018
I have a newspaper article from the 1939 Wisconsin State Journal with the title "Foreigners call American Women 'Spoiled'". It references a book by Madame Odette Kuen and agrees that American women are treated very well by their husbands. I will grant you that that is only 80 years ago, but I think it is close enough to be reasonably accurate. It does not say anything about not being beaten.
Instead it says:
" That the wives of all other countries openly cry their amazement that we have so much freedom. That our husbands are as faithful, as adoring, as generous, as unselfish as everybody has always known American husbands to be... dividing up their earnings or handing over their pay envelopes intact, blindly trusting that the contents will spent wisely, letting their wives decisions stand in all family matters. If there is a characteristic American motto, it's "Mother knows best"."
Hardly seems like there was a lot of wife beating going on there does it?
Instead it says:

To answer the question in the video description: It means that Former Justice stevens never understood the founding philosophy or foundational documents of this nation and had no business serving in a position of public trust.

Language warning - because, for some topics, strong language is necessary - that is why we have strong language.
If a government will not protect it's children, then it does not deserve to be in power. The welfare of children is an order of magnitude more important than ANY sort of political correctness.
That said, the left does bear blame but the right didn't stop this either. These are your CHILDREN. Why would you put up with that? Why would you continue to live in a community with such activity going on? Why wouldn't you at least sue every public official that ignored the crimes committed against your child?
Rotherdam, Telford, how many more of your children have been damaged because you, Great Britain, allowed them to be victimized and abused in the worst ways out of fear of what is, essentially, embarrassment?
And how many of these people - whose ideology requires them to conquer your nation and to behave exactly as they have been doing - are you going to put up with?
Culture be damned. If you want to live in a civilized nation, you live by it's laws. And if you want your civilized nation to continue as a civilized nation, you ENFORCE your laws without worrying about a newcomer's culture and you PROTECT YOUR CHILDREN!
40 YEARS.
40 YEARS you allowed this to go on in the hopes that these people would change. They are not changing and they will not change - why should they? There are no consequences for refusing to do so. In addition, they are informed by their religion that this is not only acceptable but desired behavior - in order to conquer all nations that are not islamic.
Any decent person seeing this behavior from their fellow believers, would study their religion to see if this behavior is dictated/allowed/encouraged by their doctrine and, upon finding that it is, would convert. 40 years is certainly enough time for any person of good character to make this study. 40 years is certainly enough time for these "newcomers" to have learned the laws and to inform any real newcomers to obey them - were they so inclined.
40 years Great Britain. You allowed your children to be abused by this religion and it's followers for 40 years because you were too embarrassed to call it what it is because the more civilized acting followers told you lies and you believed them enough to sacrifice your children to them. You wanted to believe it because it made you feeeeeeel good to be seen as tolerant and kind and loving. Where is the love and kindness for your own citizens and their children?
I would strongly suggest that the citizenry of Great Britain demand the return of the right of gun ownership before you become Great Britainistan unless it is already too late because your government clearly doesn't give a damn about you or your children. And if the government won't protect your children, then it is up to you to do so.

14 They have healed also the hurt of the daughter of my people slightly, saying, Peace, peace; when there is no peace.

Common Sense Prevails - at least for now
Having shared videos of the NOAA Facts Forum on the proposed marine sanctuary, this blogger is pleased to share that common sense has prevailed and Governor Walker has pulled his nomination. This does not mean the process has stopped - only that it will be much more difficult for NOAA to get their hands on that portion of Lake Michigan. But it is a step in the right direction.

Because programs like this do nothing but create a school environment in which gangs and violence can flourish. It sounds good and makes people feel good about themselves for supporting it, but ir does not do any good. In fact, it makes things worse.
