Speak Your Mind About Islam Day: Thursday, June 6, 2013

"Just this past week we were shocked to witness, in broad daylight, on London streets, the ambush and barbaric murder of Lee Rigby, a British soldier, husband, and father of a young child. Lee was ambushed by two men, one of whom spoke directly to the camera afterwards. This man made it clear that his motivations were based upon Islam and the numerous verses in the Quran that call for violence against non-Muslims.

Afterward, individual citizens from the UK and around the world flooded social media with their sentiments about Islam, the false narrative that it is a "Religion of Peace" and the blatant falsehood put forth by Prime Minister Cameron that the teachings of Islam had nothing to do with this brutal assassination. Several citizens have since been arrested by the government of Great Britain for comments they made under the influence of grief and anger. These actions by the government are an attempt to suppress free speech and must not be tolerated. We ask that you stand with these persecuted individuals as a unified people.

In response to the British government's attempts to suppress free speech, we wish to declare Thursday, June 6th, 2013 "Speak Your Mind About Islam Day". June 6th is a day of great significance for the free peoples of the world.

In the 1940's, American, Australian, Brit, Canadian, Frenchman, Indian, Russian, Christian, Jew, Hindu, Sikh and countless others were bound together by the common goal of eradicating forever the vile ideology of Nazism. On June 6th, 1944, segments of these diverse allied forces bound together and stormed Fortress Europe marking the beginning of the end of the ideology of Nazism as a force among men.

Let June 6, 2013 once again be that day for us.
On Thursday, June 6th, 2013 we ask that you flood social media with your thoughts on and knowledge of Islam as a clear and unmistakable message to our governments around the world that we will NOT be silenced by blasphemy laws, statutes on "community cohesion", or threats and acts of intimidation carried out by our governments in an attempt to silence us on the issue of Islam and its undeniable ties to religiously motivated acts of terror around the world. Our overwhelming numbers and unified voice must make it clear that we will become increasingly UNGOVERNABLE, without becoming violent, on the issue of Islamic terror. An assault on one will be treated as an assault upon us all; we will stand together as one voice. Political careers will pay a price at the polls for the condescending act of telling us that Islam is what we all know it is not.

   Rules of Conduct:
1. Keep it civilized - nothing positive comes from mob-like behavior.
2. Focus on the ideology of Islam, not individuals.
3. No profanity or ad hominem attacks - they cause people to tune out the message because of the messenger.
4. The goal is to unite us, garner group support for the cause, and put our governments on notice that we will not be silenced.

Please share this now with every blogger and social media group you know about."

Memorial Day To Do List

  • May we stop and take the time today, to be thankful for those who gave all to secure the freedoms we have experienced to this point.
  • May we gain an appreciation for what we are losing, day by day in the current struggles that beset us from within and without and be strengthened by the knowledge that some gave all.
  • May we remember those who served and survived with burdens of evil knowledge that they bore/will bear forever to keep us safe.
  • May we remember that the safety they fought and bled and died and suffered/suffer for is not the safety to do nothing, but rather the safety to take risks and fail sometimes.
  • May we never forget that America is the last, best hope for freedom in this current age and that we are the warriors who have been given the breathing space to keep it alive by those whose sacrifices we honor today.
"Except the Lord build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the Lord keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain. " ~ Psalm 127:1

"The burden of Dumah. He calleth to me out of Seir, Watchman, what of the night? Watchman, what of the night?" ~ Isaiah 21:11

Thomas Sowell: Undoing the Brainwashing

"Instead of fighting the Japanese for every island stronghold as the Americans advanced toward Japan, MacArthur sent his troops into battle for only those islands that were strategically crucial. In the same spirit, parents who want to bring their brainwashed offspring back to reality need not try to combat every crazy idea they picked up from their politically correct professors. Just demolishing a few crucial beliefs, and exposing what nonsense they are, can deal a blow to the general credibility of the professorial pied pipers."

What Hurts the Most about Benghazi

This is what gets me too. How do I live with those people who didn't and still, by all appearances, don't care what happened here.

From the article:
"I'd like to understand.  Do Democrat voters truly think these actions by a President and Secretary of State are not important?  I know we are different on many questions of war and peace and diplomacy.  But this is a small, human story.  A handful of men, attacked by Islamists, fighting for their lives, abandoned for election politics.  We don't do that in America and pretend it's okay, do we?"

Military suffers wave of ‘gay’ sex assaults

Military suffers wave of ‘gay’ sex assaults

We knew better and we allowed this to be done to our military anyway. Shame on us.

“So we’ve got a male-on-male problem here. The Department of Defense doesn’t want to comment on this. They know that the numbers are there. They say that they care, but all the attention is usually given to the female members of the military who are subjected to sexual assault,” Donnelly said.
The Washington Times article also includes analysis from Aaron Belkin, who heads The Palm Center. He said the rise in male-on-male sexual assault does not reflect the increase of homosexuals in the military but, rather, those assaults are ”somewhat similar to prison rape.”
“Well, that’s a great slogan to use for recruiting young men into the military, isn’t it? It’s outrageous. And yet, the Department of Defense doesn’t quite know what to do with these figures, and so they just sort of put them in there and hope nobody notices,” said Donnelly, who points out The Palm Center is a homosexual activist organization.

April Showers bring May Flowers

It's Spring and the trees are greening up, but not with leaves just yet. No, trees, like everything else in the plant kingdom, have flowers. A fact that all too often is taken for granted or goes unnoticed.
I could write today about the multiple scandals involving our government. I have written about Benghazi before. I have been calling my Representative in congress daily since late September demanding impeachment over Benghazi.

Maple Flowers

I could write about the IRS targeting conservative and Christian groups for "closer scrutiny". A thing rightly feared by any American who understands that it is now impossible to be in compliance with all of the tax code never mind the volumes of new laws and regulations that Congress and our state legislatures impose upon us almost daily now.

I could write about the government's spying on the associated press. The press exists to comfort the afflicted and afflict the comfortable. They exist to expose criminal behavior in high places, a job most in the AP have deliberately neglected when it comes to Mr. Obama and his minions, but which may now be something they find palatable once again as the sights of this administration are set on them - well some of them anyway.

Box Elder Flowers?

I could write about how the Congress, the SCOTUS and the Obama administration are systematically destroying our nation. They appear to be doing this with the willing compliance of the majority of American voters. This is disturbing on a number of levels. It indicates that Americans are largely ignorant of not only world history, but of American history as well. The USA is a Constitutional Republic and yet, from teachers to journalists to politicians themselves, all of whom should know better, our children are repeatedly told that we have a democracy. But they are not told that democracies are ill conceived and inherently unstable.

Maple Flowers

The immediate results of April showers can be quite intimidating and fearsome.

I could write about all these things and I would be right to do so. The watchman has a duty to warn the city when danger approaches. I am hardly a watchman, but that does not relieve me of a duty to warn my fellows of an approaching danger. Today, however, I think the danger lies in burying ourselves in the perfidy of our government to the exclusion of all else.

God is in control.
The USA sought His blessings during her founding and received them. How sad He must be to see us killing the children with whom He has blessed us before they have an opportunity to be born. How sad He must be to have been rejected by our schools and now by a major political party.

Oak Flowers

Bee on Maple Flowers

And yet, in the Spring, the rains still come and the land still blooms. The bees, who awaken before showier flowers have bloomed, are fed by the rather more exotic, if less noticeable, tree flowers. This should remind those of us who have been paying attention that God is not mocked, nor does He forget His faithful. There will be hard times coming. Remain faithful. The trees are flowering.

" So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto the Lord God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.
And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed against the Lord God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.
Now be ye not stiffnecked, as your fathers were, but yield yourselves unto the Lord, and enter into his sanctuary, which he hath sanctified for ever: and serve the Lord your God, that the fierceness of his wrath may turn away from you.
For if ye turn again unto the Lord, your brethren and your children shall find compassion before them that lead them captive, so that they shall come again into this land: for the Lord your God is gracious and merciful, and will not turn away his face from you, if ye return unto him. Wrecking the Military

The standards of the military were designed to assure the least loss of life for our fellow citizens who serve. Using them for social experimentation is unethical and a grave breach of trust.
