I am shocked. Shocked into writing in the first person instead of sticking to the journalistic third person.

I was looking up a video by Dr. John Lennox - mathematician and Christian apologist - to recommend it to a friend  - and discovered that his youtube channel has been terminated. I want to know what the violations are, because I have never seen a video of his that has been disrespectful of others or vulgar in any way.

There has been much made of the silent purge going on in big tech/social media but this is the one I have found the most shocking. This quiet little man simply using logic and preaching Christ has had his channel terminated? None of the videos that I have seen has so much as a swear word in it. He is the definition of meek and mild in his presentation. Nothing shows up in search engines either.

Here is his bio from RZIM.com:
"
John Lennox is Professor of Mathematics (emeritus) at the University of Oxford and Emeritus Fellow in Mathematics and the Philosophy of Science. He is also an adjunct lecturer at the Oxford Centre for Christian Apologetics, as well as being an Associate Fellow of the Said Business School, Oxford University, where he teaches for the Oxford Strategic Leadership Programme.

Prof Lennox studied at the Royal School Armagh, Northern Ireland, and went on to Cambridge University from which he took his MA, MMath, and PhD. He worked for many years in the Mathematics Institute at the University of Wales in Cardiff, which awarded him a DSc for his research. He also holds a DPhil from Oxford University (by incorporation) and an MA in Bioethics from the University of Surrey.

In addition to over 70 published mathematical papers, he is the co-author of two research level texts in algebra in the Oxford Mathematical Monographs series. He is interested in the interface between science, philosophy, and theology and his books on those topics include God’s Undertaker: Has Science Buried God?, Gunning for God, God and Stephen Hawking, and (his most recent) Can Science Explain Everything? Prof Lennox has lectured extensively in North America and Eastern and Western Europe on mathematics, the philosophy of science, and the intellectual defense of Christianity. He has also debated a number of prominent atheists, including Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, and Peter Singer. (Website: www.johnlennox.org)"

"Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." ~ Phil 4:8
