Yup, this author has tried to ask and the only place that could give a straight out answer was a local family clinic that didn't take insurance. It's like going to a store with no prices on anything, asking a clerk how much that can of peas costs and having the clerk reply, "well, I don't know, you need to take it home and eat it and we will bill you."
