And, to add my two cents worth, this notion that people should be fired for expressing their opinions is wrong. (With a few, very specific exceptions.) People are not hired for their political/cultural/social views, they are hired to do a job. It is not the employer's place to act as the thought police for unpopular opinions in the culture of the day. Yes, the man's opinions are repugnant, but he is entitled to hold them. Apparently the idea that people with whom we disagree should no longer be allowed to make a living is not being examined critically, nor followed to it's logical end point. (At least not yet, thank God.) The logical endpoint is that the person dies because they are no longer able to support themselves or their families.
