Nation’s Largest Teachers Union Says They Will Push Critical Race Theory...

Fire them.

 
Take this as an opportunity to re-imagine the entire public school system.

A good start would be to put parents in charge of any federal per student money and let teachers/tutors/schools compete for the students.

Want to homeschool but need a tutor for the subjects you don't feel qualified to teach? Get a private tutor for those. 

Feel like you can do it all yourself? Have an option where those funds that parents don't use in a year can be put towards studies abroad or college or invested for whatever tools a child that wants to go into a trade may need.

There is no reason to keep a system that clearly is not working and that is being used to push political/social/cultural agendas rather than the basic life skills our children need. The current system is a dinosaur.  This is an opportunity.
