It is not the job of journalists or news organizations to "change" the nation or her people. At least not in the U.S.A. It is their job to inform the people of the facts and let us decide if we - as individuals - wish to change based on those FACTS.
When "journalists" and "news organizations" take upon themselves the authority and mission to change people, then they are no longer journalists or news organizations. Then they are nothing more than propagandists and should be treated as such.
The government is supposed to be prohibited from engaging in and/or promoting propaganda.
