One hopes not. One hopes the American people retain enough character and shared values not to be duped into these outrageous assaults on the republic. The beauty and annoyance of the American republic is that the citizens may change things they don't like. There is a system for that. Yes it is long and arduous but there IS a system. The only reason violence would be necessary is if those who wish to change things know that their fellow citizens will not want the changes they want.
Within the citizenry at any rate.
What foreigners may wish, and particularly those who have more money than is good for their character and who have been tempted into playing kingmakers, is a different thing entirely. One hopes those in leadership may devise a way to discern one from the other and to proceed accordingly. Confiscating all the money paid by such people /organizations to the troublemakers they have been employing might be a good start.
As for those who have been using our own tax dollars against us by getting government money as NGO's, I think it is time and well, well past time to defund them. "Oh but they do such good things otherwise" you might be thinking. One doesn't retain a cleaner who steals just because they also clean the house.
