Happy Thanksgiving

May all the readers of this blog have a very Happy Thanksgiving.

As those who have been with this blog may recall, from the days when there were more posts and fewer videos shared here, The author of this blog has an interest in photography. That being the case, there are a few items of interest that I will share in this blog that are not political in nature. (Like the occasional music, cooking and history videos.)

If you have the weather for it and are looking for something fun to do with the young'uns during Christmas break - or, given the current weather in the Midwest, over the Thanksgiving weekend - here is a link to a book on frozen bubble photography:
Frozen Bubble Photography: Tips and Tricks for Getting Started
There appears to be a sale right now for the paper copy.

If you would like to see some examples of the author's work, you may find them at Lumenira .com.

(Should you wish to sign up for your own account at Lumenira - a website that pays you when people view your images - here is a code to get a 10% discount on an annual subscription. BP10OFF It is only a tiny amount but does the site where you share your photography now pay you anything?  And yes, this is an affiliate link.)

If you would like to purchase some of the work of the author there are several to choose from Here.

"4 Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God

7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things." ~ Philippians 4:4-8

ClickASnap

Because I would like to keep my husband happy with this use of my time, this blog will be posting a link to a site called ClickASnap.com where photos may be purchased from the Call Me Mom account there.

There are various sizes of prints available, some framed, some not. There are also various items that may be printed with the photos of your choice. If you wish to purchase a specific form of the posted photos that is not available in the photo's description, kindly state your preference in the comments under that photo - either there or here - and it will be made available.

A big thank you to all those who take the time to check out the blog and this author hopes that this addition will be a service to the readers - even if it is only to provide a pretty picture once in a while.

And here is the first link
The photo is called Hidden Fisherman and the description reads:
"This is a whimsical mechanical man perched in a tree. This is a favorite subject of mine as he is always there and always has a smile for me."
Thank you.
