To Tell the Truth

When we are young we are taught to tell the truth. We are taught that because, not only is it not good for us, it is not good for society as a whole to tell lies. A stable society - especially one like ours, in which there is so much specialization - requires a great deal of trust. Our very currency is based on faith - which is a special level of trust.

All lies are harmful. They may not seem to be at first, but even when lying for a "good" reason - like keeping a surprise party secret - the person who was lied to now knows that everyone at that party lied to them and therefore could lie to them about something else. Lies are harmful because they impair the individual's ability to trust the liar in the future even if they do no immediate or obvious harm. They also make one who has been lied to more reluctant to trust others.

Those who choose to identify as transgender - no matter how sincere their emotional angst/mental illness - are liars. They are lying by presenting themselves as other than what they are.

There have been articles and videos coming out in the last few years in which so called transgenders bemoan the fact that normal, heterosexual people do not want to date them. Obvious problems aside, who would want to date a liar? When there is limited time to find a spouse and start a family, who can afford to waste time dating someone who is lying about whether or not they are able to produce children with you? Liars waste the most precious resource anyone has on this Earth - one's time.

And this is just one reason that the lie of transgender-ism is a  problem for society as a whole.

Here is the bigger problem with transgender-ism. They are not only telling a lie with their appearance and mannerisms, but that 0.3% of Americans are asking the rest of us to allow them to tell that lie without refuting it.

That makes the rest of us into liars too.

As an individual, one may choose to lie from sunrise to sunrise and that is on them. But that liar does NOT have the right to compel anyone else to become a liar by joining them in their lie. And that is the truth that no one seems to be telling around this issue. You are NOT required to become a liar to support someone else's wishes.

Truth and Consequences

It's been a while since I have had the time and energy to write  a post of my own here. Much has happened in the interim. It is mighty tempting to title this post "We Told You So"  because conservatives and those who actually bestirred themselves to read or at least skim the erroneously named Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act did our best to warn America of what was in it.

Ms. Pelosi famously said: "We have to pass the bill to find out what's in it".  No ma'am.  As a member of Congress, it was one of your most basic duties to READ the bill to find out what was in it BEFORE you voted on it.  That aside, I think Ms. Pelosi and her fellow criminals in the 111th Congress who voted for this monstrosity knew exactly what was in it. They knew it would kill millions of Americans, because that is one of the purposes of this piece of excrement. It was designed to allow the government to legally kill people in a way that wouldn't incite a violent uprising in the American people - because, as I have been told over and over by the bill's apologists - its the LAW now.

And that's the thing. Slavery was the law at one time too, but it was bad law and here in America, we have, not only the ability to change bad law, but the duty to do so. Americans are a law abiding people and those currently in power and their minions and useful innocents know this. They are counting on it.

As a law abiding people with the authority and duty to change the government when it becomes abusive or tyrannical, we have a duty to remove this "law" from the books entirely. It violates our 4th amendment right to privacy along with forcing us to engage in commerce at the whim of government, which is clearly abusive of our self evident but un-enumerated right to use our resources, financial or otherwise, as we see fit.

The truth of the PPAACA that Americans are waking up to as their health insurance premiums have been raised to the sky or their health insurance has been cancelled altogether, is that this is a threat to our form of government, our property, and our very lives. There will be consequences for that threat. There must be or the government bullies, who have been put in places of power by the degraded character of a nation that farms out the individual duties of charity to an over sized and uncaring, faceless government, will only escalate, because bullies and abusers who face no consequences for their actions always do.

Right now those bullies, and they are people who sincerely believe that they are driving the evolution of humanity to the next level through their Utopian, socialist nonsense, regardless of the cost in lives that such philosophy has engendered EVERY SINGLE TIME it has raised it's ugly head in human history, are crying to their dear leader to do something. Save them from their folly - at least until they can be re-elected - at which point the deathcare will resume along its intended path.

Their dear leader has responded. By ordering private companies to ignore the law for a year. I am at a loss to produce one president in the history of the USA who has thought he had the authority to order private companies to do anything. That is because the president has no such authority here. There are no kings in the republican form of government given to us by our founders who were guided by the Hand of Divine Providence. Yet he has done so and without even offering compensation for the work required by such an order.

I do not think that the threat of death and pain to our families, friends and neighbors as well as to ourselves can be brought back into comfortable denial by such a tactic, even were it allowed to stand, (which it had best not be or there should be more than democrats fearing for their re-elections) because I hope and pray that Americans have just been given the wake up call they really need to see what is happening to our nation.

The claim of the tyrants and bullies is that the free market system doesn't work for health care - even though the free market system -even hobbled as it is by excessive government regulation - has already built the best health care system in the world.

The claim of the tyrants is that the poor will be given free access to the health care they need under this monstrosity. the truth is that, given the outrageous premiums and deductibles, the poor will be made much poorer and still be unable to access health care.

The claim of the tyrants is that the cost of health care will go down. The truth is that a single page of regulations on any industry has never resulted in lower prices. We can only imagine how high theprice of health care will be driven by 20,000+ pages of regulations.

The claim of the tyrants is that "if you like your plan you can keep it". The truth is that 5 million+  Americans have already lost their health insurance and millions more will be unable to afford the premiums for the new plans they are being offered. The truth is that this monstrosity was designed to steal the wealth of Americans and kill them when they become "useless eaters" in the eyes of these tyrants. Unless there is anyone left who still thinks the IRS will not play partisan politics with our health care.

The head tyrant has ordered, ordered the insurance companies - private businesses - to embark upon a high cost reversion of actions they have taken to comply with this monstrous "law" until the 2014 elections are over in order to restore the awakening giant to a passive slumber. The truth is that he and his minions have threatened us and our children and our families. A threat that remains active, because cancer patients and others who just had their vital, lifesaving treatment yanked out from under them with the cancellation of plans they liked and counted on will not forget, if they survive. I suspect their families will not forget if they don't.

So, America, look around you and ask yourself: which of my family members, neighbors or friends would I trust with my life and the lives of my family?". Then go out and get those people to run for office - because we desperately need trustworthy people of good character to replace the tyrants and bullies we have now. For those who helped to put those tyrants and bullies into place - you need to take a break from voting until you have educated yourselves on this nation, what government is and is not to do for you and your responsibilities to her.

Truth and Denial

I was visiting my son at his apartment the other day. My husband was going to arrive a bit later and it had gotten dark. Suddenly, my son looked up and drew a deep breath, then gave a sigh of relief as my husband walked into the kitchen. We hadn't heard him in the hall or opening the door to the apartment. My son said "When I looked up and saw something moving in the other room, at first I told myself it was just a shadow and then it was you." That got me thinking, because as a young woman, someone attempted to break into my apartment one night when my roommates were gone. I had just gone to bed and turned my face towards the wall to go to sleep when I heard a noise. I told myself it was just the wind. Then I heard it again and it was not the wind.

Dave's Speech

What strikes me is that people naturally engage in denial when they are afraid of something or when something unexpected occurs. We really are creatures of habit that way. Does it serve us to do so? I suppose, in many situations, it does. But, such a habit must not be allowed to direct our actions when it is detrimental to us. That's what leads to victims who stay with their abusers until they are dead or wish they were, the inability to break free of that first impulse to deny an unpleasant reality.

Earl Arrowood's speech

It strikes me that that's what we are doing, as a nation, right now. Mr. obama is ineligible to sit as president. His father was not a citizen. Due to the reality that the children of our military or ambassadorial staffs may be born overseas and they should not be denied the potential to be president one day, the "born on native soil" requirement was waived in the 1800s. That leaves the "two citizen parent" requirement as the only meaningful distinction between a just plain citizen and a natural born citizen.

This is a reasonable requirement to hold for the office of the president. It is needed because the president also serves as the commander in chief of the military. We dare not have a commander in chief with divided loyalties. It matters not whether the non-citizen parent is beloved or hated, it will have an affect on the child that parent creates that is not desirable in the commander in chief of any nation's military.

We, as a nation, heard the rumblings, and saw for ourselves the objective evidence that this man, barack hussein obama, was not a natural born citizen. He told us so himself, publishing two books-one of which was telling us all about his Kenyan father. He had the hubris, as a senator, during the presidential campaign, to add his vote to the unanimous Senate approval of non binding SR 511, which, while it would allow that Mr. McCain was eligible, would serve to disqualify himself as well. (It is also, to my knowledge, the first time any part of Congress has weighed in on the definition of the term Natural born citizen for the purpose of presidential eligibility.) Non binding legislation has been used, historically, to let the judiciary know how Congress would vote, were they to vote on a specific subject.

Those of us who paid attention were horrified to see one Secretary of State after another refuse to do their duty to verify the eligibility of this usurper. Then the Congress failed to object to the electoral college vote and the chief justice of the United States, Mr. roberts, the one man above all others who should have known very well, that this man was not eligible, swore him into the office of the president, and flubbed it and did it again in secret.  He has just done so a third time, very privately and quietly. He refused to find obamacare unconstitutional or to require that it go back through the legislative process once he declared it to be a tax, rather than the unconstitutional abomination that it really is. He saw Mr. obama sign into effect 23 executive orders infringing the right of the people to keep and bear arms on the federal level - a blatant violation of the oath of office that he, himself had administered - and swore him in again.

We must stop denying that the federal government is in the hands of a usurper and that neither the Congress, nor the SCOTUS intend to rectify that situation. We must recognize this now, because this is the last stop before tyranny. If we allow the feds to shred the second amendment, that does not mean that we no longer have that right, it means we will have to exercise it. We alone, among all the nations in the history of the earth have the most venues by which we may avoid the destruction that is barreling down on us without violence. But in order to do that, we MUST stop denying the objective truth of our situation. It is not just a shadow, we must act to remove all those who are in violation of their oaths now, or we must fight our own later to restore the Constitution that has for long guided us in our quest for continued freedom.

To those who would argue that all those people know better than do we and it just doesn't make sense that they wouldn't object if it were true, I have two words - Bernie Madoff. There were one or two ordinary people who tried for years to bring the authorities to bear on this ponzi scheme. They did the research and reasoned according to the objective facts.  But because they weren't the elites and because the idea that such a huge and well respected businessman could be a fraud was ridiculous, nothing was done until the structure began to collapse. They did their duty, were subjected to ridicule and humiliation for it because it was the right thing to do. And so must we do the right thing and restore the Constitutional limits on that body of oathbreakers and usurpers currently occupying our federal government.

The Lord has given us the right to bear arms and all the others, enumerated and un-enumerated. The Lord guided the hearts and hands of those who wrote that venerable document. May the Lord guide and bless us in our efforts to restore to it's rightful government that great gift that He bestowed upon our founders, the gift of America. Because, as Benjamin Franklin - notably one of the least religious of the founders said “The longer I live, the more convincing proofs I see of this truth, that God governs in the affairs of men. And if a sparrow cannot fall to the ground without His notice, is it probable that an empire can rise without His aid?”

Invocation by Alan Scholl

That is why we had a Guns Across America rally last Saturday. That is why those who are paying attention are so determined to hold the line here. the second amendment, which reads: "A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed." is not about hunting or self defense. It is about having a citizenry that is armed well enough to be called up, as a militia, in times of trouble to defend the nation. To defend the nation from invasion or traitorous usurpers like the one currently sitting in the office of the president and his minions. The oath references "all enemies, foreign or domestic"  because the founders knew that men would come who would be greedy for wealth and power. Men of subtlety, aided by other men who would wish the destruction of this nation in order to pillage it's great wealth.

Anonymous Teacher

The declaration of Independence says that "mankind are more disposed to suffer, while evils are sufferable" That is the denial I referenced earlier in this post. With this attack on the second amendment, we MUST declare that these evils are no longer sufferable. If there is any nation on earth capable of removing this usurper and his minions - all of them, including those in the Congress and the SCOTUS - without violence, it is the USA. But we must act now. Recall your representatives. Call your governors and demand the nullification of any and all unconstitutional federal actions towards the people. Call them daily until they do it. I suggest also recommending the Balance of Powers Act wording suggested by the USPU to your state level legislators.

Glenn Grothman's Speech

I have scattered a few videos from Wisconsin's Guns Across America Rally throughout this post and I will add more as I find them(from the ones I missed by being late) or process them. We must protect the second amendment or we will be unable to restore any of the rest.

Josh Tolley's Speech

" Know ye therefore that they which are of faith, the same are the children of Abraham.
And the scripture, foreseeing that God would justify the heathen through faith, preached before the gospel unto Abraham, saying, In thee shall all nations be blessed.
So then they which be of faith are blessed with faithful Abraham." Gal 3:7-9

9/11 A Day of Remembrance

Remembrance, NOT service.
A day to remember that we were viciously attacked by those following the dictates of their god. That's right, their god, not our god, because no matter what nonsense you may have seen, heard or read, allah and the God of the Bible are not one and the same.

It is a day for remembrance, and well do I remember that day. I turned the television on only because the lesson I had planned for my son that morning was to watch a newscast and discuss how today's events turn into tomorrow's history. It was a very effective lesson.

That day's events spurred me to learn about Islam. Because the first rule of war is "know thy enemy", and Islam, by that attack had made itself clearly and unequivocally the enemy of America. I listened to President Bush call Islam a religion of peace and urge us to be tolerant and careful of one another. I was willing to give American muslims the benefit of the doubt. To say to myself that, surely, this was the work of radicals and extremists.

Ten years later, I am well versed in the inconvenient and politically incorrect truth. The truth that Islam, true Islam is every bit as violent and bloody as those who had been sounding the warning klaxons towards America's vulnerability had claimed and worse.

Am I saying that all those who call themselves and think themselves muslims are violent jihadis? No. Many are simply poorly informed and the victims of taqiyya or following a fad. Many are what Christians would refer to as "casual" followers. You know, the sort who only attend church on Christmas and Easter and call themselves Christians because that's how they were raised and they never saw any point to getting upset about it, or to study it enough to know what they believe and why. Those muslims are probably just as nice and normal as any other American.

The problem is, that because Islam not only permits, but encourages lying to advance the cause of Islam (Which, by the way, is nothing short of world conquest)you and I cannot tell which ones are which and so the only ethical and responsible course of action is to assume that all are devout followers of the true Islam and therefore cannot be trusted at their word.

This is not me being racist - Islam is not a race. This is not me being hateful - I love all people, and the God I follow, Jesus Christ, died for His love of ALL people. This is not me committing slander or libel against the followers of Islam, as by their own holy texts, they are to engage in some form of jihad (yes, there is more than one form, many of the most insidious forms of jihad are peaceful.) and do whatever it takes to conquer the world for allah. This is simply the truth.

I find it more than a little sad that we have come ten years from that attack (And more than that from many other jihadist attacks against America)and we still are not willing to stand up and speak these simple truths about Islam.

We did not choose this battle, but we will fight it. I suggest that my fellow Americans stop calling the watchmen on our walls names and start getting to know our enemy.

One last thing. To Mr. Obama, I know you were raised during your young life in Indonesia, a very different culture, and by communists when you came to live in this one, so you are a bit out of step with traditional Americans, but this must be said. You should cease your attempts to re-cast 9/11 as a day of service. We resent it. I resent it. I resent even more your administration's direction to downplay the role of Al Quaeda in that vicious attack. You can say all you like that America is not and never will be at war with Islam, but saying it doesn't make it true. We know who attacked us and some of us have been taking the trouble to learn the truth of why. It is an insult to the people of this nation to pretend that the followers of Islam, represented by those jihadis, weren't making a declaration of war by that attack. Doing so divides us further, when we need to be unified.

Know thy enemies America...before it's too late.

"Then the lords of the Philistines gathered them together for to offer a great sacrifice unto Dagon their god, and to rejoice: for they said, Our god hath delivered Samson our enemy into our hand.

He is Risen

And that's the problem for all those of other faiths that "recognize" Jesus Christ as a prophet or a teacher, but not as the son of God/God in the flesh. The fact that He died for our sins and rose again to show that He had conquered death and paid for the sins of the entire world, should they choose to accept His free gift of salvation, is the entire point.

The problem for Muslims and Jehovah's witnesses and all others who claim that Jesus was only a teacher or a prophet is His resurrection. Without that fact, He would not be the foundation of the Christian faith today, nor could He be counted as a prophet.

Either He was telling the truth and He was/is God, or He was a madman for claiming to be God. His status is wholly dependent upon the truth of His words. If He spoke the truth, He is/was God and deserves our worship as our creator and if He lied, He deserves nothing more than to have been forgotten by history as one more madman claiming to be God.

Throughout His ministry He claimed to be God. There are numerous accounts of His being attacked for such claims in the Bible. There are numerous, credible accounts of His death and His appearances after His death.

This Easter, I will be praying that all those who recognize Jesus only as a teacher or prophet examine their beliefs and come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ and His work for us on the cross.
